2019 saw what may well be the last ever edition of the 95-year-old Fastnet Race as we know it. Epic, nail-biting racing from five Dazcats and two other Multihull Centre boats. Raw, real, as-it-is footage from on board four of the Dazcats. If you want to know what it’s actually like onboard while racing a performance cruiser-racer Dazcat then this series is for you.
It’s most probably racing as you’ve never seen it before!
FIVE DAZCATS RACING
Episodes 1 – 3 take you through the pre-race preparations, the thrill of the start, the pain of light winds and current…and finally to the epic, heavy-weather battle up to the rock then a flying reach back home. The two 1495’s, Hissy Fit and Apollo, are locked into an almighty match race as they round the rock almost neck and neck – the heat is definitely on to see who will make it home first…

When we got back into Plymouth one of our first visitors was Yachting World’s Elaine bunting, with a video editor in tow…She liberated me, Dazcat Media, of all the footage I had and handed it over to their editor. Dazcat 1495 Apollo is for sale
You don’t see much of Apollo in the videos above – maybe that’s because the crew are kept so busy keeping her beautiful while still getting amazing race results that they don’t have time for filming as well…Apollo really is stunning so if you wish you’d seen a bit more of her in the videos you can get a really good close look all around here.

I have been following the developments at Dazcat for years. I would be very interested in being able to see the Texel ratings of particularly the 12m range models and your opinion on the accuracy and fairness of the rating from experience .
