Mast

Cockpit

Is spacious and clean.

Decking is teak effect, which is more environmentally friendly than using real wood and requires a lot less maintenance.

Cockpit lockers for rope storage & self-draining gas locker with bottle.

Under the deck is the life raft locker which is accessible from both sides to fit RORC rules. A 4-man life raft is included.

Cockpit helm positions

Upgraded 5 spoke Carbon wheels set on Lewmar hub chain drive with Dyneema cable steering independent of each station but connected with an alloy tie bar for precise and enjoyable feedback when helming.

B&G plotters, autopilot controls & compass both sides. Twin winches with one electric upgrade each side, power control switching for winches, Morse engine controls and start panels upgraded. XX Spinlock clutches throughout. There is also a pair of socket seats for the helmsman that are removable for racing.

Coach roof

Upgrades include the self-tacking jib and genoa tracks Antal Barbour hauling points and halyard fairleads

Saloon

Contemporary interior syling with Bentley inspired upholstery cushions with storage underneath. Overhead light panels and mood lighting, passive ventilation system plus Lewmar deck hatches.

The table is set on an electronic telescopic leg. This lowers the table to make a third double berth or day bunk great for kids big and small to watch DVDs or TV which retracts into the unit for safe storage.

Houdini, twin aluminium and glass cockpit doors slide to create a large opening to the saloon

There is Flexi Teak 2G flooring throughout the interior. This has been sanded back and sealed to make cleaning easier.

The interior has been hard faired and spray painted to save weight – this distinguishes Dazcats from most others.

Galley

The half up galley provides a safe, spacious and comfortable working area that is easy to keep clean and well maintained. The galley positioning invites social interaction with the rest of the boat, and if on watch the 360 views of the exterior allow you to keep a close eye on things while making a cup of tea.

Port heads

Faired and painted so are easy to clean. Fitted is a Jabsco deluxe electric toilet with touch panel, loo roll holder, polystone top, stainless steel sink tap, mirror, lights, storage and the black tank with overboard seacock skin fittings.

Port walkthrough

Oilskin drying area in an open wet locker with heater. There is a further storage compartment in the port main beam. Inside this is also the 300ltr water tank with inspection hatch and level window.

Port navigation station and snug

Features a large two-part Navigation table moulded in polystone with storage trays underneath. Instrument panel has battery and pump switches, the murphy screen for the electrical node base electrical system for switching 12volt. 240volt power points, Sat phone, B&G plotter, vhf radio, master volt charging panel, twin red/ white shark lights, lighting, and led curtesy lighting,

360amp Master Volt lithium battery, Master Volt system with engine charging & shore power fitted inside navigation station unit.

Steps to saloon with hand rail, sofa snug with storage underneath water resistant leatherette upholstered berth cushions in grey.

Spares and Tool storage rack. Hanging locker and cupboards

Port under sole systems.

Yanmar 3Ym30 29hp engine, last serviced 2023. S/S shaft drive with PSS seals running through protected skeg keel. Upgraded 16.5” Gori 3 bladed folding prop with anodes.

Fuel tank upgraded to plastic Tek-tank 128 litres per side with breather and fillers.

4 kva Fisher Panda generator with sea cock and exhaust plumbed in, running to master volt charging system.

Port Aft cabin.

Steps to cabin, large hanging locker, cabin door, further lockers, seat with cushion, escape hatch, upholstered berth with 4” foam mattress, large storage area underneath with head board access to rear compartment. Upgraded hull trim upholstery storage lockers and worktop with 12 volt charging points. Exterior window. Lewmar ventilation hatch inboard.  Head lining panel with celling and bulkhead lighting, Flexi Teak  2G flooring. Paint finishing and trims.

Carbon stock and blade, semi balanced rudders with Self aligning Jaffa bearings, tiller & tie bar blocks and Dyneema steering cables. Independent systems auto pilot & rudder reference unit

Prismo is fitted with watertight sealable Solimar hatches for the twin forward bow lockers which store the fenders and downwind sails. Inside there is a moulded black tank for the heads with deck pump outs.

Mooring

Upgraded 6x pop up cleats, 4 mooring lines, 4 inflatable fenders and 6 standard fenders

Anchor locker

Quick Hector 1500 watt Windless. 10mm x 60 M stainless steel chain with upgraded stainless steel Delta anchor.

Water

Twin 300 ltr, tanks built into main beam pressurized and distributed in Hep pipework filtered fresh water and tap at galley. Overboard drainage on sinks. Calorifier pressurised hot water to all sinks

Prismo has been serviced at the Multihull Centre each year apart from in 2019 when an extensive refit was done in Malta with new equipment fitted including: Air Conditioning, paintwork, antifoul, anodes, engines, sails, life lines, jib sheets, running rigging.
